Helga De Silva Blow Perera, owns the 35 bedroom hotel set in Kandy.
As a child Helga watched her parents play host to a string of celebrities in the hotel.
Helga's grandfather helped secure Sri Lankan independance
Now completely refurbished to reflect Helga's eclectic taste. The hotel is covered with memorials, antiques, hanging baubles, painting, sculptures and photographs covering the walls of her daughter Selina blow and daughter in law Isabelle Blow.
