Last night i watched the wonderful adaption of Sebastian Faulks's Birdsong.
Eddie Redmayne and Clemence Poesy star as the passionate loves Stephen and Isabelle, who are brought together by Love and torn apart by the First World War.
But what truly made it even more special and enjoyable was my dear friend Diane of 'Ashmans Vintage', supplied some of the beautiful costumes.
Ashmans will always remain my most favored shop, it is full of the most incredible vintage pieces i have seen and does not even compare to the vintage shops in London.....
Its a real treasure chest that i can't help feeling like a little girl in a very large dressing up box.
So next time you are in Mid Wales go and have a rummage in the most wonderful treasure chest of them all and let Diane dress you up, i promise you wont leave empty handed.....

I am longing for my own space..... Most days i play make believe and decorate my home in my head. Some days its an old country house with all its original features, then it will be a little french chateau with lilac shutters and covered in Wisteria, or then it will be a Victorian house in North London with high ceiling's and original wooden floors...
But seen as i am totally Povo and will most probably never be able to afford a house of my own, lets face it who can now a days? I will forever remain playing make believe.... x

I never have been a minimalist person.... I like things around me it makes me feel alive and inspired...
I like my trinkets and objects out on display and not hidden away in boxes.. Being a designer i like to cover my walls in pictures, objects, old photographs and words. I like to think of them as large on going mood boards and blank canvases that you keep adding to... x
