I LOVE monday.
My lovely Boss Ashlyn the owner of OLIVE LOVES ALFIE, took me on a buying trip in North London.
I had such a fun and inspiring day, buying for the upcoming seasons and seeing the other side to the shop.
I fell in love with these vintage inspired sandals especially the lovely shade of Turquoise, and was beaming when Ashlyn ordered me a pair (they go up to big sizes as well) i cant wait to wear them with vinatge dresses in the shop in the summer.



Little Duckling has to be one of my favorites children's brands, it still keeps the innocence and simple shapes of children's wear, but mixes it up with a quirky vintage style and colour pallet. Their new Autumn/Winter collection is reminisce of early Norwegian style with lots of my favorite shaped dresses.

I have a new obsession in my life, a total girl crush in fact. Fashion Toast has now become my new addiction, her style is what i am all about this year.

Tinting.....

Inspiration for Brown and Binx collaboration.... After looking at my chosen pictures and the use of bright fluorescent colours i started to think of 1940s tinted photographs. I have always been fascinated by this style and thought of the idea of using some thing old and distressed and tinting it with a new life of colour...
Hand-colouring refers to any method of manually adding colour to a black-and-white photograph, generally either to heighten the realism of the photograph or for artistic purposes. Hand-colouring is also known as hand painting or overpainting.
Typically, watercolors, oils, crayons or pastels, and other paints or dyes are applied to the image surface using brushes, fingers, cotton swabs or airbrushes. Hand-coloured photographs were most popular in the mid- to late-19th century before the invention of color photography and some firms specialized in producing hand-coloured photographs.
